Working for a non-for-profit ‘faith based’ organisation to optimize and reduce technology cost through appropriate architecture and design services. Main tasks:
- Analyse current state and align to future state architecture roadmap including any interim architectures that incrementally combat total cost of ownership.
- Ensure customers in the retirement villages, in home and assisted living could be serviced through Digital enablement.
- Setup a technology governance framework to ensure decisions are made in line with the architecture roadmap.
- Deliver a Salesforce, Boomi, AWS, Office 365 and Snowflake platform solution to increase the ability to cross sell, service, roster and make informed decisions for the Aged care industry.
Responsible for the architectural leadership of modernisation programs across an international capital investments business. In addition partnering with the service excellence and controllership functions to develop reporting and resolution playbooks for obsolescence management across the organisation, and take ownership of technology road maps published by the CTO organisation.
Managed initiatives prioritised with the IT leadership team across Asia-Pacific and including key planning cycles for the Asia-Pacific IT function. Leverage expertise from regional and local experts to define flexible and scalable platforms that support simplification, consolidation and cost-reduction objectives
Developed a technology strategy (5 years) and roadmap to prevent a very large ($60 – $100M~) upgrade path for the back-office systems.
The roadmap included a new operating model for Australia and US assets, including migrating all infrastructure to the Cloud and designing Apps that could better service customers on the road.
